In 1994, young local entrepreneurs joined with common passions: design and jazz, establishing Kristalia. At nowadays, Kristalia srl is is composed of and led by people who are driven and highly committed in the processing plans. Strategies analysed by the owners are implemented only after they are introduced to the whole staff. This constant search for a team spirit, a spirit in which to take as lots of challenges as possible, creates enthusiasm and commitment. In the autumn of 1995, Kristalia presents its first catalogue to the commercial network. The intended target for the first products was a middle-aged consumer, oriented towards contemporary furnishing, in the upper-middle economic range and with the need to find reassuring tastes and details, bound to tradition, in the things he or she purchases. Right from the very start, Kristalia paid special attention to innovative projects, by means of experimentation and the continuing search for new technical solutions, and using materials which they adapted from the fields of fashion and sports.
The company’s best sellers include the “Sushi” table by Bartoli Design in all variations; the “Boum” chair by Monica Graffeo, winner of the Young&Design 2003 award; the “Face” chair designed by Luca Nichetto; “BCN” stool, designed by Harry&Camila, winner of the 2008 Good Design Award. The latest major accomplishment sees Kristalia supply the furnishings of the new offices of Triennale Design Museum which have been inaugurated during the 2010 Milan Furniture Fair.
